02 OUR STORY
On completing their first ambitious, ‘self-build, grand design esk,’ family home this couple recognised that they’d become so invested in the property business that they would simply have to continue!
“We broke ground the same day Boris instructed the UK to “stay at home” in March 2020. Having invested EVERYTHING into what was now just a giant hole in the ground and with the rest of the world in lock down they couldn’t have chosen a worse time.
Their capacity and resilience were tested on a daily basis. The skills of ‘creative thinking’ and ‘resourcefulness’ were honed throughout the eighteen month project.

Experienced and comfortable in corporate and designer type settings the construction industry presented a very different environment to master and a completely new code of attire!

Her love affair with all things house and home began as soon as their first project was ‘out of the ground’. Extensive research and learning followed by the right networking enabled value to be added to the scheme by competitive buying. Tactile Interiors uk is the sister business which is leveraged in property deals ensuring a Cedar Rise USP of interior designed and finished homes every time.

04 ANTICIPATED DEVELOPMENTS
Cedar Rise supports existing urbanisation by adding safe and pleasant developments to already established neighbourhoods. In addition to these Cedar Rise is also actively seeking less obvious but ‘up and coming’ neighbourhoods to develop and to develop in.
The sweet spot is small scale conversions from light industrial and office buildings into residential using permitted development rights in North London, Middlesex, Herts and Bucks.
Opportunities for larger, higher spec individual projects, bespoke or prospected are also welcome and invited.

ENVIRONMENT
Construction in the UK produces more waste than any other industry. In 2018 of the 222 million tonnes of UK waste produced, 138 tonnes of that was construction, demolition and excavation waste (62%). By repurposing unloved, light industrial and office buildings into homes, in addition to the primary objective of supplying beautiful homes, we are proud to have minimised the impact on the environment in doing so.
